Overview
We understand that plans can change. This Cancellation Policy explains the rules and financial consequences when a guest cancels a booked rental, requests a modification, or fails to show up. This policy also covers cancellations initiated by Tasha Auto Group LLC.
All cancellations must be processed through our website, by email at Tashaautogroup@gmail.com, or by calling +1 (972) 824-5692. The cancellation is effective at the time it is confirmed by Tasha Auto Group LLC.
Whether you receive a full refund, partial refund, or no refund depends on when you cancel relative to your scheduled pickup time, the length of the trip, and the reason for cancellation.
Guest Cancellations
If you need to cancel a booked rental, we encourage you to notify us as soon as possible. The earlier you cancel, the more likely you are to receive a full refund. The cancellation window is based on the vehicle's local time zone (Central Time for Dallas–Fort Worth).
Free Cancellation
Cancel 24+ hours before pickup
Guests who cancel 24 hours or more before the scheduled pickup time receive a full refund of all charges, including the rental fee, service fees, and any add-ons.
Bookings made within 24 hours of pickup
If you book a vehicle less than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time, you have a 1-hour grace period after booking to cancel for free and receive a full refund.
Late Cancellation
Cancel less than 24 hours before pickup
Guests who cancel within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup time will be charged a cancellation fee. The fee depends on the length of the original trip:
- Trips longer than 2 days: You will be charged the equivalent of one average day's rental cost. The remaining balance is refunded.
- Trips of 2 days or shorter: You will be charged half of one average day's rental cost. The remaining balance is refunded.
- All late cancellations: Security deposits, insurance/protection plan fees, and delivery fees are refunded in full.
No-Shows
Failure to appear at scheduled pickup
If you do not cancel your booking and fail to appear within 2 hours of the scheduled pickup time, it is considered a no-show. The full rental amount will be charged, including all fees. No refund will be issued.
A no-show also includes situations where:
- You arrive without a valid driver's license.
- You arrive with an expired or suspended license.
- You send another person who is not an approved additional driver to pick up the vehicle.
- You fail to provide the required credit/debit card for the security deposit.
- You fail to pass identity verification at the time of pickup.

Early Returns
There are no credits or refunds issued for returning a vehicle earlier than the scheduled return date, unless:
- You submit a trip modification request through our website or by contacting us, and the modification is approved by Tasha Auto Group LLC before the return.
If your modification request is approved, the revised rate will be recalculated based on the shorter duration and any difference will be refunded.
Trip Modifications
Need to extend or shorten your rental? You can request a modification at any time by contacting us:
- Extensions: Subject to vehicle availability. Additional days will be charged at the prevailing daily rate at the time of extension.
- Shortening: Must be requested and approved before the new desired return date. Refunds for shortened trips are calculated based on the revised duration.
Modifying your trip does not reset the free cancellation period. The cancellation window is always tied to the original booking time, not the modification date.
Cancellations by Tasha Auto Group
If we cancel your trip
If Tasha Auto Group LLC cancels your booking for any reason — including vehicle unavailability, maintenance issues, or scheduling conflicts — you will receive a full refund of all charges. We will also make every effort to offer you an alternative vehicle of equal or greater value at no additional cost.
Situations where we may cancel include:
- The booked vehicle requires unexpected maintenance or repairs.
- A safety recall has been issued for the vehicle.
- The previous rental resulted in damage that has not yet been repaired.
- Force majeure events (severe weather, natural disasters, government orders).
Cancellation for Safety or Cleaning Concerns
Vehicle not as described
If upon inspecting the vehicle at pickup, you have concerns that it has not been properly cleaned or is unsafe to drive, you are eligible for a full refund provided that you:
- Do not accept or drive the vehicle.
- Contact Tasha Auto Group LLC immediately at +1 (972) 824-5692 to report the issue.
- Provide photographic evidence of the concern.
Once you accept the vehicle and begin driving, this provision no longer applies.
Refund Processing
11.1. All refunds are processed to the original payment method used at the time of booking.
11.2. Refund processing times:
- Credit cards: 5–10 business days, depending on your card issuer.
- Debit cards: 5–14 business days, depending on your bank.
11.3. Security deposit holds are released separately and may take an additional 7–14 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your financial institution.
11.4. Tasha Auto Group LLC is not responsible for delays in refund processing caused by your bank or payment provider.
Disputes
If you believe a cancellation fee was applied incorrectly or you have questions about a refund, please contact us within 30 days of the cancellation date. We will review your case and respond within 5 business days.
All disputes related to cancellations are subject to the Governing Law and Dispute Resolution provisions in our Terms of Service.
